tour Details:
• Start Time: 4 pm
• Finish Time: Approx 9pm depending upon Hanoi traffic
• Meeting Place: Pick-up from your hotel in the old quarter
• When: Monday - Saturday, Starting at 4:00pm- 9:00pm approx depending upon traffic conditions
• Transport: Our mode of travel will be in a minibus for the tour. We will be doing some very light walking from the bus to the craft beer venues.
• Inclusions: Out on the tour we will be able to taste three amazing craft beers at each stop that we go to. We will go to a total of 4 stops for a grand total of 12 craft beers during our tour. We will also include finger foods along the way. There is a vegetarian option as well, must be requested in advance. English-speaking guide. Pick up and drop off by minibus, from your hotel in old town
• We ask for a minimum of 3 people for this tour to be booked.

What To Expect

Old Quarter

Our beer tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We will gather all of the clients for this craft beer adventure, before we head out. Then we get into the minibus and go to each stop for tasting great craft beers here in Hanoi.

We will travel to stop one appox 10kms south of the old town. Once we are there we will be able to see one of the first local brewerys in Hanoi. We will stop there for appox 45 mins. Here will we try their 3 craft beers along with finger foods.

After that we will go back into the mini bus to travel to stop number 2. Here we will talk about the history of this new local brewery and enjoy 3 craft beers here along with some finger foods.

Next we travel North of the old district. To visit another craft brew masters mini brewery to see how he makes his beers. After that we will sit down to try the 3 beers there. We are there for a about 45 mins.

Than we travel back into old town for our last and final spot at a great craft beer bar to talk and discus the best beers on the tour and enjoy 3 more last beers. Tour is over at that point.

Also, this is a great way to see parts of the city that most tourists don't get to see or even hear about. This tour was more amazing than expected! We really got to see some special breweries on this tour that we definitely would not have found otherwise. Brian was a blast, full of information and a great tour guide. I’m so glad we ended up doing this tour on our short trip to Hanoi!

This is a must for visitors to Hanoi, from the backpacker to the 5 star traveler. Had a great night with our guide Brian, who showed us some great spots around the city including a new brewery where we learned about the highs and lows of a US brewer's journey to start up in a foreign land. We visited a range of brew pubs with different vibes where we sampled various styles of beer including brut IPA, stouts, pale, Scottish ale, herb and fruit infused concoctions....all sorts. He has loads of knowledge of the historic and current goings on in Hanoi and creates a friendly easy going group vibe which makes the evening like a night out with friends. Easily the highlight of our Hanoi trip.

Even though iam a die hard fan of Single Malt, during my first trip to Hanoi my friend had suggested this team to explore the different micro and tap breweries. Brian MacDonald had took us different provinces and explained us culture, history and Beers connections with the Hanoi. I think trip to Hanoi will complete only after sipping The Taste of Hanoi Beer Tour. I appreciate his knowledge and skills to explain in simple way.
