Order of the destinations on the trip: Ban Co Peak - Heliport - Linh Ung Pagoda - Man Thai Fishing Village and Paragliding zone. It is not only famous for its amazing views, but it’s also full of things to do, things to experience and things to see.

What To Expect

Son Tra Mountain

Fishing Village is our first stop.

The village is rested right next to Monkey Mountain, most of the residents in this area are living on the ocean.

They get up early to drop fishing net to the sea and collect very fresh fishes and squids for seafood market nearby.

The popular boat most of the fishermen use is basketboat.

It is made of bamboo which is available in Viet Nam and durable as well as friendly to the environment.

We will learn about how they make one and might have a conversation with one of a fisherman there.

Linh Ung Pagoda

The pagoda was built in 2009 as one of the symbols of Da Nang.

There is 67m high lady buddha stands on the edge of the mountain, she faces the ocean and local people often visit her to pray for her protection toward Da Nang city.

In here, we will have chance to learn about Vietnamese religion and visit the most spectacular pagoda in the central of Viet Nam

Ban Co Peak

Before the Summit of Monkey Mt. we will spend some time at a magnificent edge nearby Intercontinental Resort Da Nang for burger pinic lunch.

While enjoying cool breeze from the sea, we will have some drink and burger which made to your own preference.

Following is a narrow path inside the rainforest which leads us to the summit of Son Tra. From there we will have many opportunities to capture epic panoramic photos of Da Nang and Hai Van Mountain.

Bai Da Den

Going down the hill, we will switch to a hidden road under shades of big trees and jungle, the voices of birds singing, monkeys and the wildlife all blended together makes the trip an adventurous one.

The experienced guide will show you where the monkeys playing and how they hide from the human.

If we have good luck, getting to see Red Shanked Langurs is just so easy. They are endangered animals and highly protected since the population of them is just less than 2000 worldwide.

End of the trip, we will come to a secluded beach on the Mountain where only locals know about. Feel free to collect some oyster shells as a gift to friends back home and we will all head back to city.

Great scooter tour for amazing views and local knowledge.

This is a great tour of Da Nang’s peninsular covering the many site seeing locations and some locally known spots. My scooter guide Khanh was the perfect host; enthusiastic, knowledgeable, fun yet professional. I can’t recommend this tour enough!
Also big shout out to Tam’s mum who prepared the burgers for our picnic.

Must-do for solo travelers!

It was just myself and Tam on this trip and I had the best guided tour experience I can ask for! Tam was thoughtful, engaged, knowledgeable, professional, and made sure I felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. He had thoroughly done his research and brought me to places that are less known and had absolutely breathtaking views. It was also wonderful to learn more about his time growing up in Danang. Definitely the highlight of my trip in Danang, can’t recommend this activity enough!

Our trip with Tam and Khanh was just perfect! We had a beautiful weather and the view was just amazing. They took a lot of pictures of us and shared them after! This was the best part of our Vietnam trip so far and I don’t think anyone could top that! Both of them are really interesting and funny to talk to, they know what they’re talking about! Very memorable day! We’ll recommend this tour to everyone who wants to come to Da Nang! Also, big shoutout to Tam’s mom for preparing delicious burgers! Thank you so much! Extremely fun and amazing experience to son tra peninsula exploration

Chris was extremely friendly . He is a very positive and happy kid and his enthusiasm rubs on you as well. We saw the fisherman’s village , several view points , the path through the jungle for monkey spotting , linh ung pagoda and sunset along with tasty avocado ice cream . Chris knew a lot of trivia and it was super fun to ask him questions. He was interested in our culture as well. Highly recommend the tour . Totally worth the money.

Tam, Liem and Chris were really friendly, fun and attentive guides. The morning started off with slight drizzle but thankfully the skies cleared soon after. We were given better helmets, and I felt very safe on Tam’s bike. Tam also added an unplanned hike (which we were the first to go on!) to a secluded view point that was just right next to the ‘dog’ rock. Wished that we were prepared with swimming costume for a dip in the rock pool. Hope this segment becomes a permanent feature of the Monkey Mountain adventure. Next time I visit, I’ll definitely go for Hai Van Pass with Tam and team. Highly recommend!
