Overview

In Vintage Army Jeep with open-air, we leave the tourist hub to drive on the unique route in peaceful countryside villages around Hoi An, meet the locals to see how they live on a daily basis.
Zigzag through rural villages, we visit a local family and experience firsthand straw mats weaving. Pass the prawn farms, we stop by at a local shipyard to learn how local men build their giant ocean fishing boats. Catch the cool breeze from rice fields, we come to a friendly family to cook and taste rice crackers. Later on, we drive over the high bridge across Thu Bon river, it offers panoramic views of Hoi An and leads us to the beautiful Cam Thanh fishing village, stop there to enjoy the basket boat ride under the shade of water palm trees along the river. Pass scenic farms, we visit Tra Que organic garden. It’s time to enjoy delicious Vietnamese meal in a nice restaurant.

Unforgettable tour experience

We wanted a tour that would give us an authentic experience of Vietnamese life, traditions and culture. This tour didn’t disappoint! We had an unforgettable day on our tour with Ben, he was warm, welcoming, answered all our questions and had so much local knowledge to share.
We feel very privileged to be able to visit peoples homes and have an insight into their various crafts; weaving, rice flour milling, organic farming. This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to vietnam!

We had a fantastic family afternoon trip with Ben and both drivers. We are a family of 5 with 3 older boys so we had 2 army jeeps with them in one and myself and my husband in the other with Ben . It was all really interesting and fun visiting local families in the countryside and also participating in some activities. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Hoi An to do this trip and experience the local culture.

I’ve been living in Vietnam for a while and know some local people myself, but when my mom has came to visit me i decided to take this tour, to show her life and culture of local people. And i didn't regret! Our guide, Ben, was very nice. He gave as a ton of interesting and useful information (even for me), answered all the questions, made a photos and prepared nice video at the end with map of all places we visited. The program is well developed and easy to follow. I would recommend this tour and our guide Ben to anyone who visit Vietnam for the first time or who living here for a while and want to know more about this country.

The experience of touring the countryside on a US Jeep was just amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would 10/10 recommend this/Ben to anyone. Itinerary was full filled with a personal touch and we had a pleasant time visiting the locals and getting to know their craft. Ben our guide and the co-founder of this tour group is responsible, honest, down-to-earth, speaks splendid english, friendly and such a treat to have as a guide!
