What To Expect

Cu Chi Tunnels
Morning Tour: start 8:00 AM & end 2:30 PM in Ho Chi Minh city
Afternoon Tour: start 1:00 PM & end 7:00PM in Ho Chi Minh city

Depart the City for Cu Chi Tunnels, just 60 kilometers. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti-American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its 220 kilometer-long tunnel system and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreigners to visit.

The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery is home to ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers along the side of the road. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction and damage all over the area caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone.” The remnants in Cu Chi are evidence of the fierce battle that took place.

Our tour guide Hieu is a really knowledgeable person. He guided us through the tunnels in the forest, he explained everything in details.
This tour in all is worth it, you will see the army equipments from that time and also have the opportunity to go through the tunnels. You will have a experience without regrets. Hieu is explaining you the history and all the additional information.

Excellent Day trip to Cu Chi Tunnels at Ben Douc

We had a great trip with our guide Hieu. The car arrived on time and we stopped at a nice ceramics factory before arriving at the Ben Douc tunnels in under two hours. Hieu was fantastic and provided detailed information on the tunnels use and his life experiences in Vietnam at the end of the war. He ably steered us and our small children through the tunnels and crowds; it felt like a true VIP experience. Ben Douc is well laid out with lots of war equipment on display and good video facilities to explain the tunnels use. Having been to the other tunnels at Ben Dinh before, the tunnels at Ben Duoc are longer and more realistic. All and all it was an excellent tour and glad Vietnam is open again for tourism!
