What To Expect

Ho Chi Minh City

Your local student guide will pick you up at your hotel by taxi then leave the tourist area behind and start your food adventure to non-tourist district, a street food paradise. Everything is included in the price: Motorbike drive, food, drink, private guide. All the eateries have Government Safe Food Certificate. The tour can be also customized for Vegan or any food restrictions. *The menu could be slightly changed depending on the day and time and availability of local food stalls.

We had the best street food tour with our student guide, Lizzy. She showed us so many hidden gems all serving local and widely different authentic Vietnamese foods, all while explaining the foods and locations in perfect English. It was one of our favorite experiences during our time in Vietnam. We booked the tour the night before and Lizzy was flexible in allowing us to start later then originally planned, and was on time in picking us up from our hotel and a perfect guide in HCMC busy streets. We would recommend to anyone wanting to try local street foods while seeing some hidden neighborhoods. We loved it! Thank you Lizzy!

The street food concept made easy

What a great way to try lots of different foods and see different districts that you might not easily discover if you just stayed around the most central area of Saigon (district 1). Also, for me it was great to experience street food, as I was a little intimidated to try it as a solo traveller. Our guides (I joined the tour with another couple but we had two tour guides) were so much fun, so friendly and informative, and took care to make sure we’d try new food but food we’d enjoy, they were careful about allergies and food preferences, too. Highly recommend!

We decided to book a last minute food walk tour on our very short stay in Saigon. We booked online at 7pm the evening before and Lizzy was waiting for us in the reception of our hotel promptly the next day!

We had a great afternoon trying some of the best dishes Vietnam has to offer and Lizzy was the most amazing and informative guide with perfect English! We would certainly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city as we got to visit places we wouldn’t have on our own and try dishes we wouldn’t have known about.

Our favourites were Bun Bo Hue, which we tried in Hue but this was better and the Fried Beef! Every dish was different and delicious and we would do another tour I know they do a coffee one but we haven’t got time

Bao, my University student guide spoke excellent English and she took me to various locations to experience different food specialities
I learnt how to assemble Banh xeo
Our visit to flower market was a bit manic due to TET but she got me safely out
I'd greatly recommend this tour
