Paradise Cave
08:40 Arrive in Phong Nha town and starts to visit Paradise cave - the longest dry cave in Asia

Surrounded by forested karst peaks, this staggering cave system extends for 31km, though most people only visit the first kilometre. The scale is breathtaking, as wooden staircases plunge into a cathedral-like space with vast alien-looking stalagmites and stalactites. Get here early to beat the crowds, as during peak times (early afternoon) tour guides shepherd groups using megaphones. Paradise Cave is about 14km southwest of Son Trach.
From the buggie drop-off, it's a further 600m-plus sweaty climb up to the cave entrance. To explore deep inside the cave beyond the barrier at the end and with luck see the eyeless cave fish that are part of its ecosystem

Phong Nha Caves
After lunch. You will leaving Paradise cave to explore the most impressive Phong Nha cave. You will take a boat to cruise on Son river about 25 minute to the Phong Nha cave. While on the boat you will see the greenfield, people, houses and limestone along the river. Arrive in Phong Nha and start visiting, this cave is a water cave and famous for its rock formation which has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”.
As the boats reach the caves they queue up, entering only one or two at a time. Engines die and the operators drag them along with long poles, slowly and methodically spearing them into the murky water. Once past the entrance, the immense cavern opens up. Giant stalactite chandeliers hang down from the ceiling. Without prodding or asking, everyone falls silent as eyes gaze up and the stone cathedral’s grandeur spills out. It’s a spectacular sight.

The tour Phong Nha Cave & Paradise cave was really great experience of mine. The caves were magnificent, tremendous, gorgeous and they have unusual rock formations. When tour guide led us into the cave, "wow" it is true that we got lost into "a ferry world". Totally recommended!

We booked the trip to the Paradise and Dark caves pretty last minute and even so they were accommodating and managed to pick us up at the hotel. The guide was entertaining and helpful, speaking good English and giving us infornation about caves their discovery stories and Vietnam in general. The caves are amazing without a doubt. The tour is challenging but not dangerous or scary. It's actually quite cool. The road to Dark cave is fun and full of activities Dark cave itself is very unique experience. Lunch was tasty and good and they were respectful to dietary restrictions. Highly recommended. No special fitness level is necessary.
Breathtaking views

Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave are must-sees in Vietnam. If you can make it out to the national park during your visit, you have to go. Many tour companies run tours here and it’s quite crowded. However, this means they both have easy access for families and people with lower mobility. Be prepared for lots of walking. Paradise cave is quite the treck, bring water and good shoes. The provided lunch was cold when we arrived, but tasty and they accommodated our vegetarian preference. Our tour guide, Viet, was knowledgeable and answered all questions but hands off enough to ensure everyone had more than enough time to explore the caves on their own.
I would recommend going on this tour alongside a more adventurous trek like Tulan or Song Doong depending on your fitness level.
