Hanoi and cooking a tasty meal

Rose showed us around the old town of Hanoi showing us many interesting aspects of the town we would not have seen on our own. We then went to some of the major attractions where Rose was very informative. In the evening we went to the market, chose cooking ingredients and then cooked and ate a beautiful meal in a private well equipped house. It was great fun and really tasty food. Rose is a fantastic host, knows so much about food, speaks English incredibly well and really thinks about the needs of her customers all the time. Everything is well organised and runs smoothly, yet you are never rushed. A memorable day out.

Cooking with Rose

Rose was an amazing and hardworking tour guide. She was helped us identify various types of food throughout the market and was patient and demonstrative while teaching us how to cook a traditional Vietnamese meal. The food was excellent and there were plenty of leftovers. The next day we went and explored around Hanoi and she helped us get around to the different museums and historical sights while also teaching us about the history and culture. She is a passionate person and not only enjoyed teaching us but learning from us as well.

Excellent time with Rose

Rose is a gem! She has so much training and expertise to share: as a chef, a tour guide and an English student. She was eager to really teach us how to cook all the parts of the feast we made. There was so much deliciousness that we couldn’t eat it all.
The day after the cooking class she took us on a custom tour of Hanoi. We wanted to see very specific things that don’t interest most tourists. Rose was very accommodating, checking opening times for each spot and taking us to each one.
We highly, highly recommend Rose as a guide, cooking teacher and delightful person to share your time with!

Awesome experience. Very friendly and also down to earth. Will guide you step by step even if you don’t know how to cook at all. So can be quite funny.
