What To Expect

Halong Bay

Hạ Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2 (600 sq mi), including 1,960–2,000 islets, most of which are limestone. The core of the bay has an area of 334 km2 (129 sq mi) with a high density of 775 islets.[1] The limestone in this bay has gone through 500 million years of formation in different conditions and environments. The evolution of the karst in this bay has taken 20 million years under the impact of the tropical wet climate.[2] The geo-diversity of the environment in the area has created biodiversity, including a tropical evergreen biosystem, oceanic and sea shore biosystem.[3] Hạ Long Bay is home to 14 endemic floral species[4] and 60 endemic faunal species.

As part of the Cat Ba World Biosphere Reserve, Lan Ha Bay is distinguished by the tranquility and spectacular beauty of about 400 dense and small islands of interesting shapes lining up really close one after another, each of which is covered by shiny green vegetation.

Cát Bà Island is the largest of the 367 islands spanning 260 km2 (100 sq mi) that comprise the Cat Ba Archipelago, which makes up the southeastern edge of Lan Ha Bay in Northern Vietnam. Cat Ba island has a surface area of 285 km2 (110 sq mi) and maintains the dramatic and rugged features of Ha Long Bay.

We didn't have too much time in Hanoi. So, we decided go to halong bay for 1 day. Everything organized by Blue Asia Tours was perfect. We had 6 hours cruising halong bay, visited almost famous places in halong bay as Amazing Cave, titop island, kayaking.... thank for all
