What To Expect

Cai Rang Floating Market

6:00AM: You will be surprised by the length of it and also the real experience by observing people trading their products. You also have a chance to enjoy the delish breakfast on the boat at floating market which makes you die for it.
7:15AM: our guide will take you to visit the noodle making village where you completely become a noodles maker by making your own noodles guided by the owner.
8:00AM: After the noodle house, you will be going to local coffee shop where you get a chance to try Vietnamese coffee, tea and fresh coconut.
8:30AM: You will go back to the sampan boat and continue riding to small canals which are wild, peaceful and green trees and only access by small boat. You will be feeling like you are in the middle of the jungle. Also, enjoy the bird songs, watching birds flying. It is definitely a fantastic experience. Great photo shots.

Muoi Cuong Cocoa Farm

9:30AM: You will leave the boat and going to the small village on foot where you will be meeting many local people, talking to them, making friends with them and also trying crossing the monkey bridge which is a typical way to cross the river in Mekong delta. It is an interesting interaction of the trip.
10:00AM: After the market, you will be arriving the cocoa farm – the unique place of the region where making chocolates and many products from cocoa fruits guided by the owner who is the only one in Vietnam that makes chocolates by his own technic. Beside learning the process of making these products, you will have cocoa drinks and try eating dark chocolates here as well.

We had such a great time on our tour! We really enjoyed the floating market and the cacao farm - so much to see and experience. The boat ride on the small canal was also really nice, since it was quiet and peaceful in the middle of nature. We had super nice tour guides and enjoyed our day very much :)

Unforgettable Floating Markets Experience!

While travelling Vietnam solo, I was fortunate enough to go on the Fabulous Eco-tours Mekong Delta Large Tour (incl. the Cai Rang floating markets, small canal, rice noodle production and cacao farm). I was so grateful that the Fabulous staff were so professional and made last minute arrangements for me go on the sunrise tour and I had the best time exploring and learning about the area with my tour guide Gin. Gin was so knowledgeable and her energy was amazing! My experience seeing the markets with Fabulous was truly unforgettable and I would highly recommend the large tour to anyone who plans to travel in the area!

Our tour guide Lily ensured that we had a great day discovering Mekong Delta. It was very interesting to listen to what she explained about the area. We can highly recommend to do the large tour (incl. floating market, small canals, rice noodles production and cacao farm).

We did the tour with Tran. She was really lovely and told us everything about the area and the fabrics. Her English is also really good! We enjoyed the tour through the floating market and had breakfast on the river. The rice noodle and cacao fabric were interesting! Tran took a lot of great Fotos with her DSLR Camera and sent them to us! We really recommend the tour!
