What To Expect

Cu Chi Tunnels

We’ll pick you up at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel in the early morning, and you’ll travel with your English-speaking guide to the Cu Chi tunnels. The drive is around 60 km.

At Cu Chi, you’ll be shown a documentary film about the tunnels and learn how the locals made bamboo traps, rice paper, and rice wine. You’ll then have the opportunity to explore the web of underground tunnels dug by Vietnamese resistance fighters.

My Tho

After exploring the tunnels, we’ll drive to My Tho. This is one of the provinces that comprise the Mekong Delta area. We’ll cruise by boat along the upper Mekong through a region with islands named after 4 animals that appear in Buddhist writings – Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this part of the tour, you’ll observe some of the activities of regional Vietnamese daily life and appreciate how life here depends on the River.

We’ll then take you on a trip by rowboat along the small waterways. You’ll see the agricultural richness of the delta region in its fruit orchards, coconut groves, and bee-keeping farms. We’ll stop so you can enjoy honey tea, seasonal fruit, fresh coconut candy, and southern Vietnamese folk music.

At the end of our tour, we’ll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel at around 18:00.

We went on a wonderful day trip. Anna was a fantastic and extremely knowledgeable tour guide. The day was jam-packed with a ton of fascinating facts that you wouldn't learn from simply exploring the sites on your own. The VIP tour with Limo was well worth the additional cost. The individual seats made the journey comfortable despite the fact that the road can be quite bumpy.

My mother and aunt, who were not teenagers, and I went on the tour. Anna was a fantastic tour guide. She was very kind to us and helpful. She is an expert on the history and places we visited.
She has a very laid-back and enjoyable demeanor, which made the tour a blast.
Anyone visiting the Mekong Delta and the Cu Chi tunnels should definitely consider doing this.

An outstanding tour all together! Out tour guide Anna was very informative and enthusiastic all throughout the tour. She highlighted a lot of important details as well as direct us to the most cost efficient shops and food places. All in all, a remarkable tour with a very adept tour guide!

Had a wonderful day trip to the cu chi tunnel and Mekong delta. Our guide Anna (Aka Mai) was very knowledgeable about the history and the places that we visited. She is also very accommodating to our requests. She also introduced many other food options for us to last us through the rest of our stay in HCM.
