Our guide(s) will pick you up at your accommodation by scooter and you will stay on the back of their motorbike for a real Saigon experience.

Kick off the trip,Our guide(s) will take you to most of the famous tourist spots Notre Dame Cathedral and Post office which will help you understand the history of Saigon in France era and admire the French architectures.

Say good bye to tourist area, We will visit a famous story about a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk who burned himself for protesting the persecution of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese government.

Stop by " Weapon concealing bunkers" where was used to keep nearly three tonnes of weapons by Saigon Commandos to attack the Presidential Palace during the Tet Offensive in 1968.

Then, An oasis of old Saigon right in the city's downtown - a special spot to understand about traditional lifestyle and Vietnamese glorious historical events happening during the war

Continue to The oldest coffee shop where you can fully experience the city's old vibe and enjoy the best coffee made with special method.

Visit the biggest wholesales flowers marke which is opened 24/7 and take a short walk to see beautiful bouquets at the shop and get a secret gift from your local guides.

Venture around the China town in Ho Chi Minh city and stop at 300 years old temple. It is one of the most active temples in Cho Lon and has an otherworldly atmosphere owing to the smoking rings of swirling incense and majestic interior furnishings.

End the trip, We will drop you off at the hotel.

The Best Way to see Saigon! Bike with the Best Hosts

5 stars and deservedly so. I really enjoyed and glad I booked on short notice. If you're reading this review, just know you'll be in good hands with the team at AN tours. They are local guides with great grasp of English and look after their guests very well. You can ask questions and get honest answers and feel comfortable knowing you're getting the in depth tour of all the places to see in Saigon.

We went as group of 3 friends in September 2022 with Chris, Henry and Anna as our guides. What a great experience it was. We saw everything we wanted to see in Saigon and travelling by bike is not only safe but also the quickest way to see everything as the locals would. You can go down streets that cars cannot and it is much quicker. We flew past tourists waiting in cars and buses. Who wants to spend their valuable time in Vietnam stuck in a warm bus? Not me! That's why when we chose the motorbike tour we knew we were getting bang for buck.

We started at 0800 at our hotel, arranged so well by the team at AN Tours. We travelled first to the Central Post Office to learn about French and Asian blend of architecture and Dương Văn Ngộ, the letter writer connecting lovers across the world. Henry knew many fascinating stories which we did not find in tour books. We also saw the Notre Dame Cathedral beside the Post office, and learnt of the imported bricks from Toulouse.

Afterwards, we spent time as the group going to War Remnants Museum. An emotional look into the desperate war fought by the Vietnamese people. We had plenty of time to read all the pictures and see the displays.

We took time then to visit Thích Quảng Đức monument and Chris told us the story of the event, as well as explaining with context about today's Vietnam. It was very candid and I felt like we were getting the real experience.

We swooped into a side street with a market, and could not believe the traffic at the large roundabouts! Anna took us around local accommodation. The great thing about this tour is that the guides know the local people so have fun with them and introduce us. For example, I needed to get t-shirts so Henry told me where to go to get the best wholesale price. We could even eat if we needed but there was so much food to take it was hard to choose, so we decided to book food tour with Henry later too.

Then we were taken to a local coffee shop with REAL coffee, I mean, filtered in front of us with tea just before drinking, the way the locals drink it. I couldn't have felt more immersed into the culture here. Henry's team made us feel really at home.

Finally we went to Miếu Bà Thiên Hậu temple. There we were amazed at the architecture and beautiful stories told by Chris about how the Cantonese people dedicated this temple to the Sea Goddess. We had opportunity to take photos at every stop and as a gift our guides offered us to make a tribute with incense.

This is a great experience and I encourage everyone to go to get immersed in the local culture. I guess you can tell by my long review that it is a great tour but see for yourself with the photos.

Thank you Henry! 5 star experience, all the way! from the moment we picked up from the hotel the whole trip was wonderful. What a day! I recommend Highly to everyone who wants to get to know this wonderful city of Saigon from the perspective of a local guide. Henry speaks fluent English and has a sense of humor. We had the pleasure of taking this trip today seeing all the historical sights around Ho Chi Minh city. Our host Son was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail in a fun and friendly manner with his impeccable English. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting HCMC it’s a MUST DO trip !!!!!

Everything was my favorite! Anna was such and incredible friend (not just a tour guide). She was really good in speaking English and at explaining things.
